Sacra Terra: Angelic Night - Game Introduction
Sacra Terra: Angelic Night is a hidden object/adventure game played on the PC created by Alawar. This walkthrough includes tips and tricks, helpful hints, and a strategy guide to how to complete Sacra Terra: Angelic Night.
How to Use this Walkthrough (Please read)
This walkthrough is meant to be used as a guide to assist in solving mini-puzzles and acquiring all items in order to complete the game. You may explore locations in the order you wish, this walkthrough is written to take the most direct route to the game's finish.
Play the tutorial at the beginning of the game!!!! This walkthrough assumes you have as it explains the basic gameplay.
Inventory objects are written in bold.
The walkthrough will state, "Use the inventory item on the blah blah," because it assumes you have the item. If you don't have the item, on your keyboard, press CTRL+F (at the same time). In the text box, type the name of the item you are looking for and press ENTER. This will scan the page for the appearance of that word.
Zooming in on areas opens small windows. Once you get the item or information you need, close it by clicking the X in the top right corner or anywhere off the window. The walkthrough will not include this instruction.
Gameplay and Tips
This is a hidden object adventure game. You will move from location to location solving hidden object hunts, mini-puzzles and picking up items to use in order to proceed in the game.
There are two difficulty modes – Casual and Expert – Casual mode has sparkles to indicate areas of interest and the hint meter charges faster. Expert has no sparkles and the hint takes longer to charge.
Hidden object hunts provide a list of items to find. Click on items in the scene to cross them off the list. Once you have found all the hidden objects, an item is added to your inventory.
Items written in red require an action to get them (i.e., pop a balloon, open a drawer, etc.).
Hidden objects screenshots will only highlight the items (yellow circles) and actions needed.
If you misclick too fast and often, your cursor becomes "locked" for a few seconds. There is no scoring or trophies in this game so it doesn't affect outcome or scoring.
Hint system – Hints are available in the bottom right-hand of the screen. Using a hint in a hidden object scene will highlight an object.
Morphing objects – there are 42 morphing objects scattered throughout the game. Finding all the morphing objects will allow you to watch all the video cutscenes. Morphing objects are not indicated on the map. Once you add the last rune, the game is over and you cannot go back and collect any you may have missed.
A list of all the morphing objects appears at the end of this walkthrough.
Hover your mouse over every aspect of a scene and watch for your cursor to change.
Magnifying glass cursor – Happens when hovering over an area that you can zoom in and investigate further.
Hand cursor – When this happens, you can collect the item and add it to your inventory or you can interact with it.
Items collected will be added to your inventory (located at the bottom of your screen). To use an inventory item, click on it and click on the area it needs to be used.
Hint system - You have unlimited hints however it takes time to recharge between use.
Mini-puzzles - Skip will complete the puzzle and move you forward. There seems to be no penalty.
There is no timer or point system.
The Journal button allows you to read the journal entries. Check your journal often (more so than other games) as it will usually tell you where to use an item or what you'll need to do in that scene).
The map will indicate areas that require an action (either a hidden object scene, inventory object to be taken or used, or a puzzle). The map does not highlight where morphing objects need to be collected.
Navigation
There is a map accessible from the journal. Hover your mouse over an area of the map to see the name of the location. When you need to return to areas you have already visited, the walkthrough will simply state, "Return to the Central Square." If you cannot find it, use the map.
Starting the Game
To start the game, press Play. Enter a profile name. If you are playing the Collector's Edition, choose which game to play. The Bonus Chapter only becomes available once you've completed the main game.
Watch the cutscene.
Choose your level of difficulty.
Walkthrough
The tutorial tells you to try the door knob. Close the window. Take the poster from the wall. Click on the door and slide the poster underneath it. Close the window. Click on the teddy bear and take the syringe. Click on the door knob. Put the syringe in the keyhole. Close the window. Click on the bottom of the door. Pull the poster and take the key. Click again on the door knob. Use the key to unlock the door. Open the door.
Click on the chairs to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Use the matches on the candle to get the burning candle. A stone is added to your inventory.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the window sill. Take the fire extinguisher. Click on the back door. Use the stone to break the window. Go through the newly opened door.
Learn about the journal and the map.
Click on the book on the left chair. Take the wings. Close the window. Click on the painting on the right wall. Read the book on the wheelchair. Click on the painting and when it shatters, take the molecule part. Close the window.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the wainscoting ledge.
Click on the disc on the counter. Take the figurine. To leave the scene, move your cursor down to the bottom of the scene until it turns into a downward arrow, then click to leave the scene.
Click on the back door.
To the inlay, add the figurine then the wings. Go through the door.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the ground. Go down the steps (towards the Central Square).
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the grass. Read the note. Move towards the Cathedral.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the bushes. Click on the book. Take the crown. Read the entry. Move your cursor down to the bottom of the scene until it turns into a downward arrow, then click to leave the book.
Click on the statue on the left to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Use the hacksaw on the cage to get the parrot. A corkscrew is added to your inventory. Go south and from the Central Square, take the path to the left, towards the Administration building entrance.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the vines. Read the sign. Click on the book on the ground. Take the orb. Read the entry. Move your cursor down to the bottom of the scene until it turns into a downward arrow, then click to leave the book.
Click on the barred window on the ground. Take the sword. Close the window.
Click on the fountain to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Use the razor to cut open the pillow to get the ruby. A funnel is added to your inventory.
Angelic Night Go through the gate to the north to get to the bridge.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the tree. Take the book from the statue's arms. Click on the lean-to by the tree to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Take the knife from the tree and cut open the pumpkin to get the heart. A sponge is added to your inventory. Return to hospital reception.
Click on the disc on the counter. Use the sponge to clean the disc.
Mini-puzzle: Place the tokens into the appropriate slot. Each token symbolizes a Deadly Sin. Match them accordingly. Use logic. When a token is correctly placed, it will light up slightly and will make a noise. Correctly or incorrectly tokens can be moved. Let the lights and the noise guide you.
The coin symbolizes greed, the cornucopia symbolizes gluttony, the lightening bolt symbolizes wrath, the rose symbolizes lust, the hourglass symbolizes lazy, the sun/star symbolizes pride, and the frog symbolizes envy.
Solution:
Once the tokens have all been correctly placed, the disc will open. Take the locket that appears. Return to the Cathedral entrance.
Click on the statues.
From left to right, on the statues, place the crown, sword, orb and locket. Wait while the animation plays, then enter the Cathedral.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the floor. Click on the book in the centre of the altar. Take the rune. Read about the spell. Close the window.
Click on the gateway (symbol on the floor).
Place the rune on the gateway. Watch the cutscene.
Take the snake head. Leave the Cathedral.
Watch the cutscene.
Click on the note left on the stairs. Take the fishing rod and read the note. Close the window.
Return to the bridge.
Use the fishing rod to get the slingshot from the other side of the bridge. Take the slingshot from where it's dropped. Return to Central Square.
Use the slingshot on the bird in the tree. Take the planet from where it fell. Return to the Hospital corridor.
Click on the chairs to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Dip the wooden train in the bucket of red pain to get the red train. A gas can is added to your inventory.
Click on the symbol on the door.
Mini-puzzle: Move the planets so they are all lined up in their slots.
To begin, move each planet to see what other planets it moves. To move a planet, click on it and drag it around the ring. Click to release.
Starting from the inside planet outward (they don't match the planets in our solar system so I'm not naming them), I'm going to number them 1 through 5.
Planet 1 moves 1 and 5.
Planet 2 moves 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5.
Planet 3 moves 1, 3 and 5.
Planet 4 moves 1, 2, 4 and 5.
Planet 5 moves 5.
Use deduction to determine which order to move the planets.
Planet 1 moves only itself and planet 5, it will be the second last planet to be positioned, then planet 5 will be the last to be positioned (since it only moves itself).
This leaves you to think about planets 2, 3 and 4.
Planet 2 moves all the planets so position it first, then position planet 4, then planet 3.
The order to position the planets is 2, 4, 3, 1, 5.
Once all the planets are lined up, the door opens. Enter the laboratory.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from under the desk. Take the crowbar. Click on the desk. Take the flask and read the note. Close the window. Return to the Administration building entrance.
Click on the door. Use the crowbar to remove the boards. Take the hacksaw.
Click on the barred window on the ground. Use the hacksaw to saw the bars. Climb down through the window.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the shelf (top left). Click on the generator parts (right side of the floor).
Reassemble the generator. An outline appears of each missing part. Add each item to match the blue outline. There are several orders in which you can place the items, one being the order shown in the screenshot below:
Completed generator:
Put the funnel in the generator gas tank, then fill it with the gas can. Note: Use the pointer of your cursor to position items.
Press the green power button on the generator, then pull the lever.
Click on the table to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Use the knife to cut the painting to get the binoculars. Rope is added to your inventory. Leave the scene.
Enter the Administration building.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the debris at the left. Click on the paper on the floor. Read it and close the window. Click on the picture on the stairwell wall. Close the window. Go through the door.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the set of drawers on the right. Click on the wheelchair. Take the stethoscope. Close the window. Click on the door on the right. Note the dining hours. Close the window. Return to the Hospital corridor.
Click on the chairs to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Use the pliers to remove the nail. Take the nail from where it drops. A glasscutter is added to your inventory. Enter the laboratory.
Click on the safe. Put the stethoscope on the safe. Click on the first dial on the left. Turn each dial until you hear an audible click.
Combination:
Take the rune. Read the note. Return to the Cathedral.
Click on the gateway. Add the rune. Take the painting. Return to the Administration corridor.
Click on the wall. Add the painting.
Mini-puzzle: Click on all the similarities between the two paintings.

Another way to see the solution:
Click on the open wall panel. Take the minute hand. Go south.
Click on the wall clock. Add the minute hand. Turn the dial to 5:10 (dining hour). To adjust the time, click on the minute hand and drag it around the clock face until it points to 5:10. Click to release. Return to the Administration corridor.
Enter the Dining Hall.
Watch the cutscene. Take the morphing object (white circle) from the table. Read the note on the floor. Enter the kitchen.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the shelf. Take the wormwood from off the floor. Click on the note. Take the refrigerator handle and read the note. Close the window. Click on the cupboards on the right. Take the oil and the cinnamon. Click on the tabletop. Take the black pepper. Close the window. Click on the stovetop.
Click on the recipe poster. Look over the recipe, then close the window. Return to the Dining Hall.
Put the refrigerator handle on the refrigerator, then open it. Take the garlic and the key. Return to the Administration foyer.
Click on the chained-up book on the chair. Use the key to unlock the chains. Take the book. Return to the Administration corridor.
Click on the door at the end of the hall. Place the two books in the slots. Note: If a book doesn't fit in one slot, try another.
Mini-puzzle: Press the books in a certain order to unlock the door. This is solved by trial and error. Begin anywhere on the circle. Push a book in. If it pops back up, it's not the correct book. If it stays in, it's the correct book (we'll call it Book #1). Once you've determined the first book, click another book. If they both pop out, that is not the correct second book. Press Book #1 and then try another book. Continue in this fashion until you've determined Book #2. Then, with Books #1 and #2 pressed in, perform the same steps to determine Books #3, #4, #5, #6, #7 and #8.
Tip: When trying to determine the next book in the combination, press them all in clockwise or counter-clockwise order, that way you can remember what you did.
Solution:
Enter the room.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the far left shelf. Click on the book on the chair. Take the elephant. Close the window. Click on the book on the floor. Read the entry. Take the frog. Close the window. Click on the fireplace. Put out the fire with the fire extinguisher. Take the dragon. Click on the desk (if the wall map appears, close it and click lower to get the desktop). Take the crocodile. Read the entry. Close the window. Click on the mantle. Take the nuts from behind the angel statue. Close the window. Return to the kitchen.
To make the poison, follow the instructions (based on the screenshot above). First add the garlic to the chopping board and cut it with the knife. It's automatically transferred to the bowl. Empty the bowl into the pot. Next put the wormwood on the chopping board. Chop it up and then empty the bowl into the pot. Put the cinnamon into the mortar and grind it with the pestle, then empty the bowl into the pot. Put the black pepper in the pepper grinder, then click to grind it, then empty the bowl into the pot. Put the nuts in the nutcracker and click to crack them, then empty the bowl into the pot.
Put the snake head in the pot, then use the corkscrew to open the bottle of acid and pour it into the pot. Stir with the spoon. Use the syringe on the pot to get the syringe with potion. Leave the scene.
Click on the tabletop. Inject the cake with the syringe with potion. Take the cake. Return to the Dining Hall.
Give the cake to the demon. Watch the cutscene.
Take the scalpel. Return to the Administration corridor.
Use the scalpel to cut the carpet. Take the tweezers. Return to the Administration building entrance.
Click on the fountain to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Use the pruning shears to get the flower. Pick up the flower from where it falls. Wire cutters are added to your inventory. Return to the bridge.
Click on the birdhouse. Use the tweezers to get the penguin. Click on the statue. Use the wire cutters to cut the necklace and get the locket. Click on the lean-to by the tree to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Use the lantern to light the hole in the tree and take the owl. A wrench is added to your inventory. Return to the library.
Click on the mantle. Put the locket on the angel statuette, then take the kangaroo from the hidden panel. Close the window. Click on the wall map.
Mini-puzzle: Place each animal figuring you've collected according to its proper geographic setting. Note: Until all the figurines are placed, you cannot move them around.
Penguin = Antarctica
Kangaroo = Australia
Crocodile = Brazil
Elephant = West Africa
Dragon = China
Frog = Continental Europe
Solution:
Enter the secret room.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from under the desk. Take the molecule part. Click on the photograph above the desk. Take the stone mask. Click on the mannequin. Use the scalpel to cut the stitches. Take the rune. Click on the dresser. Take the stone mask and read the note. Close the window. Click on the vent. Use the wrench on any screw and all four will be removed. Take the stone mask and read the note. Close the window. Return to the Administration corridor.
Click on the ripped rug. Add the three stone masks.
Mini-puzzle: Slide the tiles in order to bring each mask down to its matching mask. There are many ways to solve this puzzle. I suggest placing the stone mask on the left first, then work to set the other two.
It will look like this once finished:
Click on the open panel and take the shield. Return to the Cathedral.
Click on the gateway and add the rune.
Take the gem. Return to the bridge.
Put the shield in the statue's hands. Turn the shield until the bridge is in place and you can cross it (six clicks, once the bridge is in place, you can no longer turn the shield). Cross the bridge.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the top of the well. Read the note on the ground. Click on the well. You can't climb down. Close the window. Put the rope down the well. Go down the well.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the pipes on the right. Go back up the well.
Click on the bench to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Use the screwdriver to open the panel on the doll and take the battery. A lever is added to your inventory. Return to the cellar.
Put the lever on the fuse box, then pull it down.
Click on the chairs to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Use the hammer to break the ship-in-a-bottle to take the ship. A shovel is added to your inventory. Return to the (bottom of the) well.
Use the shovel on the pile of coal. Click on the area it uncovered. Take the bag with money and read the note. Close the window. Go through the door to the dungeon.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the right duct opening. Click on the door on the right. Add the gem. Go through the door.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the centre shelf. Click on the book on the chair. Read the entry. Click on the right side pages to flip through the book and read all the entries. Close the window. Click on the green pan on the floor. Take the coins. Close the window. Click on the desk (left side of room). Take the guillotine blade. Close the window.
Click on the green jar. Put the flask under the spout, then turn the tap to fill it. Take the acid. Leave the scene (return to the dungeon).
Click on the centre door. Put the guillotine blade at the top of the door, then pull the silver lever to release it. Enter the torture chamber.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the left table. Click on the spiked chair. Take the molecule part. Click on the trapdoor to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Use the oiler on the rusty metal slide lock to get the toy truck. Black stones are added to your inventory. Go through the door into the winery.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the floor. Click on the poster on the right side wall. Read it, then close the window. Click on the glass case at the back of the room. Use the glass cutter and get the glass. Take the red wine and white wine. Click on the large cloth to remove it.
Click on the broken barrel. Take the rune. Return to the near the well.
Click on the benches to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Use the key to open the briefcase to get the rolling pin. A pot is added to your inventory. Return to the bridge.
From the bridge scene, click on the lean-to by the tree to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Use the brush to clear off the cobwebs. Firewood is added to your inventory. Return to the Cathedral.
Click on the gateway and add the rune.
Take the coin. Return to the dungeon.
Click on the door on the left. Add the coin. Enter the Treasury.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the curtains. Read the note on the floor. Close the window. Click on the cage. Add the bag with money. Close the window. Click on the treasure chest to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Put the cheese near the mouse hole to lure it out. Take the mouse. White stones are added to your inventory. Return to near the well.
Go towards the graveyard gate.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the foot of the statue on the right. Click on the scales.
Put the white stones in the white bowl and the black stones in the black bowl.
Mini-puzzle: Balance the scale using three stones on each side. Keep using trial and error.
Solution:
Go through the gate.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the tree. Take the rune. Return to the Cathedral.
Click on the gateway. Add the rune.
Take the silver figurines. Return to the torture chamber.
Click on the fireplace. Add the firewood, then light it with the matches. Put the pot on the grill. Add the acid and silver figurines (this is the recipe from the Alchemist's room). The pot with silver is added to your inventory. Close the window. Return to the Alchemist's room.
Click on the green tray on the floor. Add the pot with silver, then add the glass. Take the mirror. Return to the winery.
Put the mirror in the frame. Watch the cutscene.
Take the lever. Return to the torture chamber.
Put the lever on the barrel, then turn it. Look inside the barrel and take the molecule part. Click on the trapdoor to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Use the knife to cut open the bag and take the egg. A vase is added to your inventory. Return to the Alchemist's room.
Click on the diagram on the wall. Add the four molecule parts. Note: It doesn't matter where you add them, the game will automatically place them in the correct position. When the panel opens, take the rose and read the note. Close the window. Return to the graveyard.
Give the rose to the stone angel. Click on the inscription tablet. Add the vase to the indent. When the vase fills with the angel's tears, the nameplate opens. Take the key. Use the key top open the gate. Enter the crypt.
Take the morphing object (white circle) from the steps. Click on the tomb on the left. Take the rune. Close the window. Click on the tomb on the right. Take the wings. Close the window. Click on the altar between the tombs. Look at the comb. Close the window. Click on the plaque above the altar. Read about eternal flame. Close the window. Return to the Cathedral entrance.
Click on the statue on the left to start a hidden object hunt.
Find all the objects. Use the coin in the slot of open the box and take the towels. A rake is added to your inventory. Enter the Cathedral.
Click on the gateway. Add the rune.
Take the special lamp. Return to the crypt.
Click on the plaque above the altar. Use the special lamp on the eternal flame. Eternal flame is added to your inventory. Return to the Treasury.
