KB Home Declares Fresh Dividend

KB Home is to dole out a dividend for its fiscal Q2 2013. The company will distribute $0.025 per share of its common stock on May 16 to shareholders of record as of May 2. That amount is in line with the company's previous four quarterly distributions. Prior to that, the company had paid $0.0625 every quarter since late 2008.

KB Home is a reliable and determined dividend payer; the firm made regular distributions, even through the darkest periods of last decade's financial crisis.

The new dividend annualizes to $0.10 per share. That yields 0.5% at KB Home's most recent closing stock price of $20.70.
