Updated

Pandora saw a rise in several of its key metrics last month, the highest of which was listener hours, which totaled 1.49 billion in March. That was 40% higher than the 1.07 billion reported for March 2012.

Rising by nearly the same percentage was the number of active listeners tuning in to the online music service. This figure came in at 69.5 million at the end of the month, a 36% gain from the 51.2 million a year ago.

Meanwhile, Pandora's share of total U.S. radio listening advanced to just over 8%, more than two percentage points stronger than the year-ago number of 5.73%.
