Season 3 of Game of Thrones comes to life in Game of Thrones: Ascent on Facebook

In celebration of the beginning of Season 3 of the Game of Thrones television program, Disruptor Beam has updated the Game of Thrones: Ascent Facebook game with a brand new episode of content, Episode 1: Valar Dohaeris. For the foreseeable future, the game will updated every Monday with new quests and content that tie directly to what has happened in the latest episode of the Game of Thrones show.

In the first release, for instance, players will now be able to travel from King's Landing to Beyond the Wall in a series of new quests based on the events of the season premiere. In addition, players will be able to craft Wildfire and join in the Battle of Blackwater with their friends. Alliances can now climb the Power Leaderboard in multiplayer alliance challenges to prove they are the strongest in the game, and a new building called the Siege Workshop can be constructed in order to build a "vast array of war machines."

Over the short life of Game of Thrones: Ascent, Disruptor has seen 43% of the game's players swear Allegiance to the Starks, with "fight" being the most common option chosen when players head into quests. With these new weekly updates, it seems like players will get to do much more fighting than ever before, so make sure to jump in and get ready if you've yet to try Game of Thrones: Ascent on Facebook.
