The greatest witch of all time, Von Twinklebottom, has arrived in The Sims Social, and she's got a whole load of magical secrets to share with us. Get those cauldrons out, Simmers, because this week we're going to learn some amazing spells! Get ready to turn your Sims into bats or breathe fire and so much more.

Do all that Von Twinklebotton asks, and she'll gift you a magical flying unicorn. Get ready to fly to any one your homes or even other Sims' houses, too. Way to beating your traffic woes, don't you think? Here's a step-by-step guide to help you be the best spell caster in town, straight from The Sims Social team at Playfish.

Step 1 – Spell It Out!

  • Click on your Sim and say that you 'Meant No Harm'

  • Click on the HocusPocus Magic Cove and 'Admire' it 3 times

  • Ask over or visit any Sim and 'Enthuse About Magic' 5 times


Buy the HocusPocus Magic Cove from the shops and place it in your home. Or you can find the HocusPocus Magic Cove in Bella's House, so go ahead and visit her. Rewards: 10 LP, 10 Simoleons, 10 XP, Admiration

Step 2 – Spell It Out!

  • Create 2 BatSim potions by clicking the HocusPocus Magic Cove, 'Brew Potion', and 'BatSim' twice

  • Click on the HocusPocus Magic Cove and 'Hope For The Best'

  • Click on your Sim and 'Cross Your Fingers!' 3 times


Rewards: 10 LP, 20 Simoleons, 15 XP, Dreams



Step 3 – Spell It Out!

  • Use a BatSim potion on YOUR Sim by clicking the HocusPocus Magic Cove, 'Drink Potion', and 'BatSim'

  • Use a BatSim potion on ANOTHER Sim by clicking the HocusPocus Magic Cove, 'Cast Spell On Friend', and 'BatSim'

  • Click on any Sofa or Bed and 'Recharge Magic Power' 3 times


Rewards: 20 LP, 30 Simoleons, 20 XP, Hope

Step 4 – Spell It Out!

  • Use an Icarus potion on YOUR Sim by clicking the HocusPocus Magic Cove, 'Drink Potion', and 'Icarus'

  • Use an Icarus potion on ANOTHER Sim by clicking the HocusPocus Magic Cove, 'Cast Spell On Friend', and 'Icarus'

  • Ask over or visit any Sim and 'Show Off Potion Skills' 3 times


Rewards: 20 LP, 40 Simoleons, 25 XP, Cloth

Step 5 – Spell It Out!

  • Use an Inside-Out potion on YOUR Sim by clicking the HocusPocus Magic Cove, 'Drink Potion', and 'Inside-Out'

  • Use an Inside-Out potion on ANOTHER Sim by clicking the HocusPocus Magic Cove, 'Cast Spell On Friend', and 'Inside-Out'

  • Ask over or visit 3 Sims and 'Swap Potion Tips'


Rewards: 30 LP, 50 Simoleons, 30 XP, Night Cap, 1 Energy

Step 6 – Spell It Out!

  • Click on your Sim and 'Feel the Power' 3 times

  • Use a Firebreather potion on YOUR Sim by clicking the HocusPocus Magic Cove, 'Drink Potion', and 'Firebreather'

  • Buy the Charmed Magic Mirror from the shop and place it in your home


You will find the Charmed Magic Mirror in the store and it costs 600 Simoleons. Rewards: 30 LP, 60 Simoleons, 35 XP, Delicious Morsel, 1 Energy

Step 7 – Spell It Out!

  • Ask over or visit Sims and say, 'I Have The Power!' 3 times

  • Use a Grow potion on YOUR Sim by clicking the HocusPocus Magic Cove, 'Drink Potion', and 'Grow'

  • Complete building your Charmed Magic Mirror


Complete building the Charmed Magic Mirror by collecting all the necessary collectibles. Rewards: 40 LP, 70 Simoleons, 40 XP, Buzz

Step 8 – Spell It Out!

  • Use a Firebreather potion on ANOTHER Sim by clicking the HocusPocus Magic Cove, 'Cast Spell On Friend', and 'Firebreather'

  • Use a Grow potion on ANOTHER Sim by clicking the HocusPocus Magic Cove, 'Cast Spell On Friend', and 'Grow'

  • Click on the Charmed Magic Mirror and ask it any question


Rewards: 40 LP, 80 Simoleons, 45 XP, Herb

Step 9 – Spell It Out!

  • Use a Bobblehead potion on YOUR Sim by clicking the HocusPocus Magic Cove, 'Drink Potion', and 'Bobblehead'

  • Use a Bobblehead potion on ANOTHER Sim by clicking the HocusPocus Magic Cove, 'Cast Spell On Friend', and 'Bobblehead'

  • Click on your Sim and 'Dance Under Moonlight' 5 times


Rewards: 50 LP, 90 Simoleons, 50 XP, Rubber Duckie

Step 10 – Spell It Out!
Use up all your potions on the HocusPocus Magic Cove
Use up all your potions on the HocusPocus Magic Cove
Ask over or visit 3 Sims and ask if they've 'Cast Any Good Spells, Lately?'

Make sure you finish (use up) all your Potions – Turn into a bat, Icarus, Skeleton, Breathe fire, Grow and Bobblehead. Rewards: 50 LP, 100 Simoleons, 60 XP, Love

Step 11 – Spell It Out!

  • Post a feed and get 5 friends to bow to your Magic Mastery!

  • Click on the HocusPocus Magic Cove and 'Cast Fairy Magic' to transform it!


Rewards: 40 LP, 80 Simoleons, 45 XP, Herb
