Microsoft Launches Surface RT in Russia This Week

Updated

Microsoft will begin selling the Surface RT in Russia on April 4, the company announced today. The company said on its Russian website -- according to a Web translation -- that M.video stores will sell the RT in Moscow.

Microsoft will host a concert by Vera Brezhnev at the Neglinnaya Plaza shopping center on the release date. The statement said that consumers will be able to familiarize themselves with the tablet at the event.

Microsoft announced in late February that the Surface RT would be coming to Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan in the coming months.
