Chillingo released the first Tiny Troopers back in June of 2012, bringing 3D combat to iPhones and iPads everywhere. The game's 3D graphics showed off the potential of this mission-based shooter, and the game apparently performed so well that a sequel has now been released.
Tiny Troopers 2: Special Ops contains three "special operations," that will see you controlling your (literally) tiny troopers around a variety of environments. One stage might see you causing destruction and explosions alongside tranquil beaches and palm trees, while another level takes place on crowded streets in the dark of night. Regardless of the location, you'll be able to tear across the battlefield on foot or in vehicles while keeping a close eye on the individual health bars of your three troops.
In addition to standard soldiers, you'll be able to recruit new medics and machine gunners into your tiny army, in addition to a flamethrower-wielding member of the Delta Force. Each stage sees you destroying not only enemy combatants, but also enemy vehicles and environmental set pieces. The game looks to pack a big punch both visually and in terms of the shooter gameplay, and you can now download Tiny Troopers 2 on iOS for $0.99 to try it out for yourself.
