This week's #housepornthurs contest was a nail biter! Turns out that a head-to-head between a glass-covered luxury penthouse and a gated Mediterranean manse makes for a pretty epic battle. But, alas, someone has to be the winner: Edging the competition out by a mere three votes, @DouglasElliman stole the No. 1 spot with the gorgeous glassy penthouse high above NYC. (But runner-up @PartnersTrust deserves a shout-out for a valiant effort!)

The entire west side of the home is a glass wall overlooking the breathtaking NYC cityscape and the Hudson River. You can watch the sunset behind the Statue of Liberty, from every vantage point in the apartment, the listing says.
