Accenture CFO to Step Down

Updated

Accenture is to lose its top financial executive. Chief Financial Officer Pamela Craig is to leave her position on July 1. She will subsequently retire from the firm on August 31.

Taking her place on the former date will be David Rowland, who is currently Accenture's senior vice president-finance. He also serves on its global management committee, and is a board member of Avanade, the company's joint venture with Microsoft. He launched his career with Accenture in 1983.

Craig has worked at the company for 34 years. Of her tenure as CFO, the firm quoted its CEO Pierre Nanterme as saying that she "built a world-class finance organization and her focus on rigorous financial discipline has contributed to Accenture's strong performance."
