Raven Industries Raises Dividend

Updated

Raven Industries has boosted its quarterly payout. For its first quarterly dividend of 2013, the company will hand out $0.12 per share of its stock on April 25 to shareholders of record as of April 10. This amount is 14% higher than Raven's previous distribution, which was $0.105 and paid last December.

The company is an extremely steady and reliable dividend payer. In the press release announcing its latest payout, it pointed out that the raise marks its 27th annual increase. The amount of its regular distribution has see-sawed over time, however, ranging from $0.055 to $0.21 in the past decade.

The new dividend annualizes to $0.48 per share. That yields 1.5% at Raven's current stock price of $33.03.
