CACI Awarded Prime Position on $21 Million Multiple-Award Contract to Provide Educational Support to National Defense University

ARLINGTON, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- CACI International Inc (NYSE:CACI) announced today that it has been selected as one of several prime contractors to provide academic and technical support to the National Defense University (NDU) on the Professional and Technical Support Services contract. This three-year (one base plus two options) indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract, which has a ceiling of $21 million, represents new business for CACI and expands the company's presence in its Integrated Security Solutions market, which includes strategy, planning, and thought leadership support.

NDU is the premier national security institution focused on advanced joint education, leader development, and scholarship. This contract supports its mission to help military and civilian leaders from the United States and other countries evaluate national and international security challenges through multi-disciplinary educational and research programs, professional exchanges, and outreach.

CACI's work on this contract will help NDU improve its educational opportunities for national security leaders. The company will provide services such as advising on strategies to enable organizational transformation; providing academic support such as classroom instruction and curriculum development; researching topics of concern to the U.S. national security community; and designing war games, seminars, symposia, and workshops.

CACI's broad expertise and thought leadership in global security uniquely qualifies it to support NDU on this contract. The company has developed and sponsored national security forums that attract high-level speakers and guests from government agencies and civilian organizations. CACI's senior leadership also includes Corporate Strategic Advisor Dr. Lani Kass, a national security expert who educated several generations of the nation's senior-most strategic leaders during her 20-year tenure at NDU.

According to John Mengucci, CACI Chief Operating Officer and President of U.S. Operations, "With this contract supporting the National Defense University, CACI will leverage our depth of experience and thought leadership in global security to help educate the next generation of great leaders for our nation."

CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Asbury said, "This award demonstrates the continuing success of CACI's strategy to win work that aligns with national priorities. The National Defense University is a new client for us, and we welcome the opportunity to continue advancing national thinking on security strategy while strategically expanding our presence in the high-growth Integrated Security Solutions market."

CACI provides information solutions and services in support of national security missions and government transformation for Intelligence, Defense, and Federal Civilian clients. A member of the Fortune 1000 Largest Companies and the Russell 2000 Index, CACI provides dynamic careers for approximately 15,500 employees working in over 120 offices worldwide.
