Rumor: Next Call of Duty called 'Ghosts'
The next installment in Activision's hugely popular Call of Duty franchise is reportedly called Call of Duty: Ghosts. The rumor comes via YouTube user Drift0r who claims a trusty subscriber -- who is also an "insider of the Call of Duty machine" -- has provided him with information regarding the game's announcement, gameplay features, and more.
Although technically not titled Modern Warfare 4, the story is believed to branch out of the Modern Warfare series, but move into a "different direction." The campaign is set in the future, but present-day weaponry will be used. This is because of a major plot point in the game that forces the characters to use weapons from the past. Following in the footsteps of Battlefield, Call of Duty: Ghosts will have destructive environments. While the destructive environments are going well in single-player, multiplayer is experiencing a few more problems.
