ChefVille 'The Best Picnic' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

If you're still working away at the Romantic Picnic event in ChefVille, you'll either be excited or disappointed to learn that another set of quests has been released with a strict time limit. "The Best Picnic" quest series will see you upgrading your Picnic Hamper to unlock new dishes for mastering, and of course cooking a lot of those dishes before you can finish them off. We're here with a guide to completing this quest set, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

Relax, It's a Picnic

  • Upgrade the Picnic Hamper

  • Cook 4 Spring Salads

  • Tend 5 Neighbors' Mom n Pop Shops

The Picnic Hamper upgrade requires eight Silk Bows, 10 Flying Discs, eight Picnic Balloons, and 10 Citronella Candles to unlock. The Silk Bows and Picnic Balloons are earned via general news posts placed on your wall, while the other two items are earned via individual requests sent directly to your neighbors.

Fortunately, these two news posts items are "Give One Get One" items, so you can claim some from your friends if they too have posted requests for them on their walls. As for the Spring Salad, this is the second dish available after you upgrade the Picnic Hamper to Intermediate. You'll receive three Apples, 10 XP, and 20 coins when you complete this first quest.

A Weighty Situation

  • Get 8 Blanket Weights

  • Cook with Cashews 6 Times

  • Give Chef's Service with Spicy Mixed Nuts 7 Times

The Spicy Mixed Nuts recipe requires four Walnuts and two Cashews to cook, along with one Pepper. They can be prepared every 15 minutes, so if you've yet to completely master this dish, you can just repeatedly cook this dish until you've cooked ith Cashews six times. Meanwhile, the Blanket Weights are earned by asking your friends to send them to you. Completing this

quest gives you two Walnuts, 20 XP, and 30 coins.

The Elements

  • Collect 8 Parasols

  • Cook 8 Orange Loaves

  • Eat 10 Dishes at Neighbors' Restaurants

The Parasols are earned by asking your friends to send them to you, while the Orange Loaves are available in the Picnic Hamper's Intermediate level. While you're working on those tasks, remember that while you can easily eat dishes at every neighbors' restaurant, the best way to complete these sorts of tasks is to actually eat at restaurants belonging to friends that stopped playing the game long ago, or never really started playing to begin with. That way, you won't waste energy in your higher-level friends' restaurants that could be better used attempting to earn unique ingredients.

When you complete the final quest in this series, you'll receive two Cashews, 10 XP, and 20 coins. Remember though, these quests will only be available for around two more days, so you'll need to act fast if you want to finish them all! Good luck!
