CenturyLink's Savvis CEO Will Retire

Updated

The CEO of key CenturyLink subsidiary Savvis will retire. CenturyLink announced that Jim Ousley is to depart the company, effective April 1. Taking the reins at the IT infrastructure solutions unit will be its current President, Jeff Von Deylen.

Ousley had been in the CEO seat since March 2010. He joined the then-independent Savvis in 2002 as a board member, later advancing to non-executive chairman in 2006.

Von Deylen has occupied his current position since last November. He joined Savvis in 2003 as chief financial officer. He also served as a board member of the firm.
