Ruby Blast goes adventuring on iOS, Android with Version 2.0 update

Updated

Just as Ruby Blast first launched on Facebook without the globetrotting Adventure mode, so too did Ruby Blast Free launch on iOS and Android without that updated gameplay mode. If you're like us, you might have found what was left behind - the game's core match-three gameplay - to be rather lacking, but either way, you can now dive into even more Adventures on the go as the Version 2.0 update is now available to download on iOS and Android.

Version 2.0 brings Adventures to the mobile experience of Ruby Blast, complete with four locations and chapters to complete. If you're unfamiliar with the Adventure Mode in Ruby Blast, it changes your goal from one of earning the highest score to one of digging to a very specific depth, uncovering treasures of varying sizes along the way. The rest of the game has been left mostly unchanged, as you'll be able to dig ever-deeper down by simply clicking on groups of three or more like-touching symbols to make them disappear.

In each chapter of Adventure mode, you'll be able to complete a series of levels, each of which comes with three stars that are up for grabs, depending on your success. If you're a fan of just generic Ruby Blast, that's still available too, but the game now packs a much more interesting punch for those looking for specific challenges. If you're interested in trying Ruby Blast (now with Adventures), make sure to download the Version 2.0 update on your iOS or Android device of choice.
