The Last of Us campaign length revealed, DLC will focus on multiplayer

The Last of Us is one of 2013's most highly anticipated PlayStation 3 exclusives. Fortunately, I've had some decent hands-on time with the game, so I can attest that its campaign will be an intense, emotional experience. But how long will it last? Technically, that's a mixed question because, like all games, it depends on the pace of your play. Naughty Dog, however, estimates 12 to 16 hours.

"We're definitely looking at more than 12 hours, maybe 12 to 16 right now is what we're looking at," Naughty Dog's Arne Meyer explained in a video interview with EvolveEnt. "It really depends on how you play. You can play a little bit slower if you try to approach situations stealthy, if you really want to explore the environment and scavenge, that's going to add more time too. We're really giving you a flexibility on how much content you can explore."
