GE Appoints New Chief Information Officer

Updated

General Electric has named Jamie Miller its new chief information officer. Miller, 44, has also been named a senior vice president at the firm. As chief information officer, she replaces Charlene Begley, who GE said has taken a leave of absence for personal health reasons.

Miller formerly was controller, chief accounting officer, and a vice president at the company. She has been with GE since 2008. Before that, she filled the same positions at WellPoint, and similar ones at Genworth Financial. She also had several executive jobs at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
