California Bank of Commerce Announces New President and CEO
LAFAYETTE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- California Bank of Commerce (OTCBB: CABC) announced Terry A. Peterson as President and Chief Executive Officer of California Bank of Commerce. Peterson will also become a member of the Board of Directors for the Bank.
Peterson was a founding executive at Charter Bank in Bellevue, Washington where he was President and Chief Operating Officer. Peterson spent ten years at Charter where the commercial bank grew to $325 million. After Charter Bank, Peterson attempted the turnaround of a severely distressed bank in Bremerton, Washington where he was President and CEO. More recently, Peterson spent the last three years consulting with bank boards and executives in Oregon, Washington, and Nevada on broad ranging matters such as corporate governance and strategic planning.
Prior to Charter Bank, Peterson was the statewide executive for middle market commercial banking for the state of Washington with Keybank, a $13 billion bank headquartered in Seattle.
