The Game Bakers' launches Squids: Wild West into the waters of Android

Updated

The Game Bakers' hit iOS title Squids has now been introduced to a whole new audience, as the developer has announced the launch of Squids: Wild West on Android. Squids: Wild West is a sequel to the original game, but it packs the same "tactical RPG" gameplay that players have come to know and love (in fact, the title is so popular that a TV show is in the works).

If you're unfamiliar with Squids, the game features a slew of battles and missions to complete, along with boss battles, as players can recruit Squids into their very own army. Squids can be flung across the screen to move them around, and Squids themselves come in four different classes: shooters, scouts, troopers, and healers.

If you loved the original Squids, Squids: Wild West looks to be even more fun, as you can ride seahorses into battle, complete almost twice as many levels as in the first game, and unlock four new playable characters, bringing the total to 12. Squids: Wild West isn't free, as it costs $1.99 or $2.99 to purchase (depending on your device), but that cost seems like a low price to pay for so much whimsical content.
