ChefVille 'Flaking Out' Quests: Everything you need to know
The Savory Pie Stand event in ChefVille comes with three new quest sets to complete, starting with "A Savory Slice" and moving onto something called "Flaking Out." There are three quests in the Flaking Out series, all of which focus on a Pie Crust Maker that can now be built in your restaurant. We're here with a guide to completing these quests, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!
Cracking the Crust
Place and Build the Pie Crust Maker
Cook Cornish Pastry 5 Times
Give Chef's Service with Beef Skillet Pie 7 Times
The Pie Crust Maker can be placed via this quest window and unwrapped using three energy. From there, you'll need to ask friends for building materials to finish it off. You'll need four Crust Crunch, four Crunchy Crumble, four Pie Promise, and four Daily Dough items. These items are earned via a combination of general requests on your news feed and individual requests sent to your neighbors.
Both of these dishes, meanwhile, are prepared inside the Savory Pie Stand. The Cornish Pastry dish requires two Pie Crusts, two Sirloin Beef, and one Pepper, and can be prepared over a period of 10 minutes. The Beef Skillet Pie takes longer, at six hours, and requires three Pie Crusts, three Sirloin Beef, and two Onions to prepare. When you finish this quest, you'll receive three Flour, 10 XP, and 20 coins.
The Prettiest Curls
Ask for 8 Curling Curiosity
Serve 2 Beef Skillet Pie
Serve 1 Foccacia
The Curling Curiosity can be earned by asking your friends to send them to you. As for the Foccacia, this is actually an old dish that can be prepared on the Brick Oven using five Onions, two Dough, and one Pepper. The dish takes 16 hours to cook, so make sure to start it up as soon as you can to save time. When you finish this second quest, you'll be rewarded with two Spinach, 20 XP, and 30 coins.
Top o' The Pie
Have 8 Topping Tenacity
Serve 5 Cornish Pastry
Harvest 5 Gala Apples
The Topping Tenacity can also be earned by asking your friends to help you out. Again, Cornish Pastries require lots of Sirloin Beef and Pie Crusts, so make sure to stock up on as many Pie Crusts as you can over time. For completing this final quest in the series, you'll receive a Pink Table Set for your restaurant, along with 40 XP and 50 coins.
There's no time limit for completing these quests, so feel free to take your time or even ignore them entirely until you have less timed quests on your plate.
