ChefVille 'A Savory Slice' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

Yet again, Zynga has unleashed more quests in ChefVille without warning, as a new 'Savory Pie' event is now available for completion in our restaurants. Thankfully, even though there are multiple quests in this event, none of them (so far) are timed. This means you can jump straight into them, or leave them until later if you'd rather complete other things in your restaurant first. Once you're ready, the three quests in the "A Savory Slice" series will see you building a Savory Pie Stand in your restaurant, and we're here with a guide to get you started, thanks to Zynga!

Pie for Dinner

  • Place and Build the Savory Pie Stand

  • Cook Wild Mushroom Turnovers 3 Times

  • Tend Neighbors' Milk Trucks / Stands 7 Times

The Savory Pie Stand can be placed via this quest window. It must be unwrapped using three energy, and you'll need to collect building materials to finish it off. You'll need to gather four Doughy Diligence, five Savory Science, four Teatime Teaching, and five Crispy Cognition items via a combination of general news posts on your wall and individual requests sent to neighbors.

Once you finish the Savory Pie Stand, you can cook Wild Mushroom Turnovers using two Flour, two Mushrooms, and one Salt per batch. Each serving takes an hour to cook.

Filling Fanatic

  • Ask for 8 Foolproof Filling

  • Have 1 Mastery Star for Wild Mushroom Turnover

  • Collect 9 Heirloom Tomatoes

The Foolproof Filling can be earned by asking your friends to send it to you. Meanwhile, the Wild Mushroom Turnovers must be cooked four times in total (including the three times you cooked the dish for the first quest) to earn the first Mastery Star. When you finish this second quest, you'll receive two Spinach, 20 XP, and 30 coins.

Texture to Go

  • Have 8 Creamy Cultivation

  • Serve Wild Mushroom Turnovers 5 Times

  • Collect 12 Wild Mushrooms

Yet again, you're asked to cook more Wild Mushroom Turnovers to complete this quest, so remember that you can earn extra mushrooms for free by tending them in your non-playing friends' restaurants. Each of us probably has at least a few friends that have either stopped playing, or never really started, so these restaurants are the perfect places to visit when looking for these "old" ingredients. When you finish this final quest, you'll receive one Egg, one Spinach, and one One-Hour Thyme spice.

Again, these quests don't come with a time limit as of this writing, so feel free to skip them for now if you're already too bogged down in other things.
