Arlington Asset Investment Declares Quarterly Dividend

Arlington Asset Investment has declared a dividend for its Q1, its first payout of 2013. The company will distribute $0.875 per share of its stock on April 30 to shareholders of record as of March 28. The amount is in line with the firm's previous disbursements, which it has handed out every quarter since June 2011.

The mortgage real estate investment trust is a habitual dividend payer. It has generally made disbursements on a consistent basis since 2003.

The current dividend annualizes to $3.50 per share. That yields 13.5% at Arlington Asset Investment's current stock price of $26.02.
