Abraxas Petroleum Increases Sales but Misses Estimates on Earnings

For the quarter, gross margin was 55.0%, much about the same as the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was -133.2%, much worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was -62.2%, much worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
