ChefVille 'Garden of Eatin' Catering Order: Everything you need to know

Updated

After the difficult series of Catering Orders in ChefVille's Hollywood event, it's time to move on to something that's hopefully a bit more refreshing. A series of six new "Spring" Catering Orders has started rolling out to our restaurants, with the first order being "Garden of Eatin'." We're here with a complete guide to this new order, so that you know exactly what you're getting into before hitting that "Start Now" button.

Garden of Eatin'

  • Buy 15 Plants

  • Serve 16 Steak Florentine

  • Cook 25 Bruschetta or Chicken Cordon Bleu

  • Serve 10 Broccoli and Dip

  • Cook 8 Garden Salad

The Plants are as cheap as five coins or Reputation Hearts per plant, so you can have this task out of the way in no time. Meanwhile, the Steak Florentine is cooked on the Brick Oven using two Sirloin Beef, two Garlic, and two Salt. It takes just five minutes to prepare, so you can have this task done in around 30 minutes if you already have all of the required ingredients in bulk.

As for the Bruchetta task, you can choose to cook all 25 of a single dish, or combine them both, so long as you eventually reach that 25 point total. The Bruschetta is available to cook in the Brick Oven using one Wheat Bread and two Tomatoes, while the Chicken Cordon Bleu is available after you've upgraded the Party Platter Station to the Intermediate level. This upgrade requires 18 building materials to complete, with all of them being earned through a combination of general news posts on your wall and individual requests sent to your neighbors.

For the Broccoli and Dip, this dish can be cooked over a period of two minutes inside the Salad Station. Each batch requires one Broccoli and one Ranch Dressing to prepare. Finally, the Garden Salads are also made inside the Salad Station, but each of these requires four Mixed Greens and two Ranch Dressing to prepare. While this dish takes 12 hours to cook, you only need to actually cook the dish to earn progress points in this order. That is, you don't need to serve the dish, so you can immediately start it cooking and then cancel it only to complete the process seven more times without actually waiting.

You'll be able to bring up to five of your friends in on this order with you, and you'll have three days to finish the order for a Gold rating. This gives you a lovely White Gate decoration for your restaurant, along with four 1 Hour Thymes and three Instant Thymes. If you can't complete the order within three days, you'll have up to a total of seven to earn Silver or Bronze prize packages. Good luck!
