Capstead Mortgage Corporation Declares a $0.31 Per Share Second Quarter 2013 Common Dividend and a $0.32292 Per Share Initial Preferred Stock Series E Dividend
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Capstead Mortgage Corporation (NYSE: CMO) announced today that it will pay a second quarter 2013 common dividend of $0.31 per common share on July 19, 2013 to stockholders of record as of June 28, 2013.
The Board of Directors also declared an initial dividend of $0.32292 per share on the 7.50% Series E Cumulative Redeemable Preferred Stock (NYS: CMOPRE) for the period from issuance on May 13, 2013 through July 14, 2013. The dividend is payable on July 15, 2013, to stockholders of record as of June 28, 2013.
Capstead Mortgage Corporation, formed in 1985 and based in Dallas, Texas, is a self-managed real estate investment trust for federal income tax purposes. Capstead earns income from investing in a leveraged portfolio of residential adjustable-rate mortgage pass-through securities issued and guaranteed by government-sponsored enterprises, either Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac (together, the "GSEs"), or by an agency of the federal government, Ginnie Mae.
