Wells Fargo Insurance Names David Robertson Managing Director for Atlanta
25-year industry veteran and recognized "Power Broker" will focus on business and sales growth
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Wells Fargo Insurance, part of Wells Fargo & Company (NYS: WFC) , has named David Robertson managing director for its Atlanta office. Robertson will lead business development, client service and sales, and cross-sell strategy for the company's insurance operations in Northern Georgia and Tennessee as well as oversee the Employee Benefits, Property & Casualty, and Private Risk Management business segments throughout the region. Based in Atlanta, he will report to Tom Longhta, regional managing director for Wells Fargo Insurance's South region.

Named a 2012 Power Broker by Risk and Insurance magazine, Robertson was most recently senior vice president and head of William Gallagher Associates' (WGA) Atlanta office, specializing in the healthcare industry. He is a former regional partner at Willis Group Holdings, and senior vice president at Marsh, a subsidiary of Marsh & McLennan Companies. Prior to joining the insurance industry, Robertson was a corporate banking officer at Citizens & Southern National bank, and worked for First Atlanta, a predecessor of Wells Fargo.
Robertson has a bachelor's degree in business from the University of Georgia, received his MBA from Georgia State University, and a master's in Health Policy and Management from Emory University.
Wells Fargo Insurance's Atlanta office has approximately 164 team members who provide insurance services to small businesses, middle market, large corporate, and high net worth clients throughout the region.
