Skullcandy (NAS: SKUL) reported earnings on March 7. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at $0.47. The 10 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated $0.48 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.47 were the same as the prior-year quarter. GAAP EPS of $0.41 for Q4 were 8.9% lower than the prior-year quarter's $0.45 per share.

Margin details
For the quarter, gross margin was 44.7%, 560 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 17.5%, 980 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 11.4%, 340 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. (Margins calculated in GAAP terms.)
