Apple and Intel have long been rumored to be exploring a foundry relationship where Intel would manufacture processors bound for iPhones and iPads. Speculation continues to heighten with a recent Reuters report stoking the rumor mill. Taiwan Semiconductor has also been named as an additional candidate as Apple continues to wean itself from relying on rival Samsung.
