American Capital Agency Declares New Dividend

Updated

American Capital Agency has declared a fresh quarterly dividend and its first for 2013. For its fiscal Q1 2013, the real estate investment trust will pay $1.25 per share of its common stock on April 26 to shareholders of record as of March 20.

This matches the company's previous disbursement, which it handed out in each of the preceding four quarters. Prior to that, the payout was $1.40 per share.

The new dividend annualizes to an even $5.00 per share. That yields 15.5% at American Capital Agency's current stock price of $32.21.
