Staples, Inc. Announces Nine Percent Increase in Quarterly Cash Dividend

FRAMINGHAM, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Staples, Inc. (NAS: SPLS) announced today that its Board of Directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend on Staples, Inc. common stock of $0.12 per share, an increase of nine percent over the previous quarterly cash dividend of $0.11 per share. On an annualized basis, the quarterly dividend is equal to $0.48 per share compared to $0.44 per share that the Company paid in 2012. The dividend is payable on April 18, 2013, to shareholders of record on March 29, 2013.
