ChefVille 'A Piece of Cake' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

If you're tired of the many timed quests released in ChefVille every week, you'll be happy to know that one of the most recent quest series - "A Piece of Cake" - doesn't come with a time limit. You can ignore it for now, or you can jump right in to get it out of the way and earn its rewards. Either way, we're here with a guide to help you get started in these quests, thanks to Zynga. Let's go!

Baker's Choice

  • Place and Build the Cream Fridge

  • Bake 2 Carrot Cakes

  • Buy 4 Bakery Decor Items

The Cream Fridge is placed via this quest window, and it can be unwrapped using three energy. From there, you'll need to collect six Cream Cools, six Heavy Hitters, and four Devonshire Disciplines to finish the item off. The Heavy Hitters are earned via a general news item posted on your wall, while the other two items are earned by sending out individual requests to your neighbors.

As for the Carrot Cakes, these are created inside the Cake Oven using one Cake Batter and one Carrot per batch. You can add Oranges to the recipe to have a chance of making it a Gourmet Dessert, but you don't have to do that to finish this quest. Each Carrot Cake takes two hours to make.

Finally, the Bakery Decor items are things like the "Rustic Bakery Divider" or "High Tea Table" items. Some cost coins, while others go for Chef Cash. Completing this quest gives you three Sugar, four Flour, and 35 coins.

Cocoa Cakes

  • Get and Build the Cocoa Plant

  • Bake Dorset Apple Cake 5 Times

  • Bake with 20 Heavy Cream on Bundt Cake

The Cocoa Plant costs 200 coins in the store and must be unwrapped with three more energy. You'll be able to finish the item using five Bitter Beans, five Choco Cuckoos, and six Bean Roasting Rituals. The Choco Cuckoos are earned by posting a general news request to your feed, while the other two items come from more individual requests sent to your neighbors.

As for the Dorst Apple Cake, this one can be created using two Apples and one Cake Batter inside the Cake Oven. This recipe calls for Vanilla in order to earn Gourmet Desserts and mastery, but again, you don't need to use these extra ingredients to finish this quest. Finally, the Bundt Cake can be cooked after you've unlocked the Intermediate Stage of the Cake Oven.

This upgrade requires five Bundt Pans, five Parchment Rounds, and eight Cake Testers. The Testers are earned via more individual requests sent to your neighbors, while the other two items come from general requests on your news feed. Finishing this second quest gives you two Vanilla, four Milk, and 30 XP.

All of the Above

  • Tend Orange Trees 12 Times

  • Bake 6 Red Velvet Cakes

  • Bake 8 German Chocolate Cakes

This seems like as good of a time as any to remind you that these quests aren't timed, which should make these hefty requirements a bit easier to tackle. You can cook these two Cakes after you've upgraded the Cake Oven itself, so make sure to check out the requirements above if you're still looking to catch up. Completing this final quest gives you two Heavy Creams, one Rustic Bakery Counter, and 60 coins. Good luck!
