Peanuts comes to iOS in Snoopy Coaster this month

Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang are being given new life later this month, as Chillingo, Peanuts Worldwide, and CGMatic have all partnered to release Snoopy Coaster on iOS.

Snoopy Coaster may sound like a theme park simulation game, but it's actually an endless runner. In the game, players will apparently ride a roller coaster with Snoopy through loops, jumping over peaks and gliding through trenches as they jump to collect coins and power-ups. Coins will apparently be used to unlock new upgrades, but we'll have to wait until the game actually launches to figure out what those upgrades do.

"Peanuts is the most famous comic strip in the world with its beloved characters ranging from Snoopy and Charlie Brown to Linus, Lucy and Peppermint Pattie," states Ed Rumley, COO, Chillingo, via a company release. "We're proud to partner with Peanuts Worldwide to bring Snoopy Coaster and all these familiar faces to iOS and introduce more fans to the fun filled world of Peanuts."
