LIN Media Announces Kristina Lockwood's Return to KHON-TV in Honolulu, HI as President & General Manager

PROVIDENCE, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- LIN Media (NYS: TVL) , a local multimedia company, today announced the appointment of Kristina Lockwood as President and General Manager of KHON-TV, the local FOX affiliate, and KHON-D2, the CW local affiliate, in Honolulu, HI.

Ms. Lockwood returns to the station after having served as National Sales Manager in 2004. Most recently, she was Director of Sales Statewide at Cox Media's California division. During her six-year tenure, she led the sales teams to achieve high levels of performance, managed several key client relationships and focused on driving core revenues, increasing digital revenues, growing market share, and developing talent. Prior to that, Ms. Lockwood spent over a decade in sales management positions at local television stations in the Honolulu market, including National Sales Manager of KITV-TV, the local ABC affiliate, General Sales Manager of KGMB-TV, the local CBS affiliate, and National Sales Manager of KHON-TV, where she increased national business sales for one of the top television stations in the market. In 1999, she received her Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Hawaii Pacific University in Honolulu.


Ms. Lockwood will report to Scott Blumenthal, LIN Media's Executive Vice President Television. In announcing the appointment, Mr. Blumenthal said, "We are excited to have Kristina back at KHON-TV.
