ChefVille 'Over the Rainbow' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

As ChefVille's St. Patrick's Day event continues to grow, Bello has decided that he'd rather not just depend on a stove for luck, but would instead like to see a giant glowing rainbow in your restaurant. You'll be able to build the Lucky Rainbow by collecting the Golden Shamrocks you earn via dishes that are prepared on the Luck o' the Irish Stove, and there are five quests to complete along with it. We're here with a guide to finishing these quests, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

Build the Rainbow

  • Place the Lucky Rainbow

  • Have a Complete Luck o' the Irish Stove

  • Finish Stage 1 of the Lucky Rainbow

The Lucky Rainbow base is similar to the Chinese New Year Dragon. It starts as a frame and will be built in stages using Golden Shamrocks and other collectible items. The first stage requires four Golden Shamrocks and one Spirit of the Irish to complete. The Spirit of the Irish is earned through a simple news item posted on your wall, while the Golden Shamrocks are earned like the Fortune Cookies were previously. That is, you'll earn varying amounts of them, depending on the type of dish you cook in the Luck of the Irish Stove. Finishing this first quest gives you three Sirloin Beef, 10 XP, and 20 coins.

Tie a Green Ribbon

  • Tend Neighbors' Mom N Pop Shops 5 times

  • Serve Irish Steak and Chips 4 Times

  • Finish Stage 2 of the Lucky Rainbow

The Irish Steak and Chips require one Irish Potato, two Sirloin Beef, and two Salt to prepare over 15 minutes. You'll receive just a single Golden Shamrock each time you prepare this particular dish. Meanwhile, the second stage of the Luck Rainbow requires two Spirit of the Irish and eight Golden Shamrocks to complete.

Clean Green Napkins

  • Get 7 St. Patty's Napkins

  • Serve Potato Bread 6 Times

  • Finish Stage 3 of the Lucky Rainbow

The St. Patty's Napkins are earned by posting a general news post to your wall for help. As for the Potato Bread, this is prepared using one Irish Potato, two Flour, and three Water per batch. Each serving takes 30 minutes to make, and you'll receive a single Golden Shamrock for each one you cook.

Rainbow Friends

  • Have an Upgraded Luck of the Irish Stove

  • Serve Potato Cabbage Soup 8 Times

  • Finish Stage 4 of the Lucky Rainbow

As of this writing, the upgrade to the Luck of the Irish Stove isn't available, so if you fly through these quests, you'll unfortunately be left waiting until the rest of this event unlocks for everyone. In addition, the Potato Cabbage Soup can only be cooked after the Stove has been upgraded, so you'll need to cook some older dishes to earn the Golden Shamrocks required for this fourth stage of the Lucky Rainbow.

The Color Connection

  • Get 8 Pots of Gold from Friends

  • Serve Corned Beef and Cabbage 10 Times

  • Finish the Lucky Rainbow

The Pots of Gold are earned by sending out individual requests to your neighbors for help. The Corned Beef and Cabbage dish is another dish that you'll have to wait to cook, so unfortunately everyone will be left waiting to complete these quests for at least a couple of days. Thankfully, this quest series won't expire for another two weeks, so we still have a fairly good chance of completing the entire series before it's too late. Good luck!
