Assurant Solutions Employee Wins Silver Stevie® Award for Contact Center Manager of the Year

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Specialty risk management company Assurant Solutions was honored in the seventh annual Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service. Senior operations manager Elizabeth Conner won a silver medal in the "Contact Center Manager of the Year" category for leading a smooth operational transition while improving key metrics including Net Promoter Scores.

Conner oversees more than 100 staff who handle more than 600,000 calls each year along with web chats and emails for the company's Extended Protection Solutions business. Her team helped implement a web-based self service solution for customers that improved customer engagement and increased sales.

"We're just so proud of Liz and her team for ensuring that our clients and their customers receive world-class customer service," said Jeff Unterreiner, senior vice president of the Assurant Solutions Extended Protection Solutions business. "Her leadership coupled with innovative, consumer-focused programs ensures that we deliver on our promise of providing responsive customer care. We're thankful she leads a team committed to enhancing the customer experience."

Assurant Solutions received two finalist nominations this year: a gold for the Mobile Services division's "Mobile Triage" technical support solution, and a silver for Conner.

The Stevie® Awards for Sales & Customer Service are recognized as the world's premier business awards for sales, contact center and customer service professionals. More than 1,100 entries from organizations of all sizes and virtually every industry were submitted to this year's Stevie® Awards competition.
