IGT Raises Dividend By 14%

International Game Technology has announced a raise in its quarterly dividend. For its first payout of 2013, the company will disburse $0.08 per share of its common stock on April 5 to shareholders of record as of March 21.

That marks a 14% over the previous dividend, which was $0.07 handed out last December. Before that, the company had paid $0.06 in every quarter since March 2009.

IGT pointed out that with the just-announced distribution, it has paid dividends for 40 straight quarters.


The new dividend annualizes to $0.32 per share. That yields 1.9% at the company's current stock price of $16.51
