Coffee, Museums and Pizza: The Best Deals This Weekend

Updated

Every Friday, we scour the Internet for the best deals and freebies available for that weekend and beyond. Here's what we found this week.

Starbucks wants people to join its rewards program, which is linked to your Starbucks card. To get people to sign up, the coffeehouse company will load $5 on your card when you register at the Starbucks website. The deal is available for new members only, so if you're already part of the rewards program, you don't qualify. If you don't have a Starbucks card, you can pick one up at any Starbucks location -- just know that there's a $5 minimum load to get one. The deal is good through March 14.

Kelli Bhattacharjee of Freebie Finding Mom passed along a friendly reminder that this is the first full weekend of the month, which means a weekend of free admission at museums across the country for Bank of America cardholders. The "Museums on Us" program offers free museum access once a month to anyone with a Bank of America or Merrill Lynch card. More than 150 museums in 31 states participate in the program, and all you need to do is present your card and photo ID. A full list of participating museums can be found at the Bank of America website.

DealNews posts this printable coupon for California Pizza Kitchen offering $10 off any order of $40. The coupon is good through March 31, and if you're placing an online order you can use the code CPK10OFF. Just note that it can't be used for delivery orders -- dine-in or pick-up only -- and isn't valid on gift cards or alcohol.

Finally, the Gap brands offer their usual array of discounts. Old Navy takes $15 off all in-store purchases of $50 or more through Sunday. At the Gap, you can get 25% off online purchases with the code GAP25, which is valid through Saturday; there's also a kids and baby event taking up to 40% off, and which takes place through Saturday online and through Sunday in stores. And Banana Republic takes 30% off in stores and online through March 5; if you're buying online you'll need the coupon code BREXTRA30.
