First Internet Bank Designated a Best Place to Work in Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- First Internet Bank of Indiana (www.firstib.com), a premier provider of online retail and business banking services nationwide, today announced it has been named one of the "Best Places to Work in Indiana" by an initiative dedicated to identifying and recognizing Indiana's best employers.

First Internet Bank is among 28 companies recognized in the medium-sized (75-249 employees) company category.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part process to determine the Best Places to Work in Indiana. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. This is the eighth year for the Best Places to Work in Indiana program and the first year the bank has participated. Eighty percent of the bank's employees responded to the survey.
