Continental Resources (NYS: CLR) reported earnings on Feb. 27. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at $1.04. The 23 earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ predicted $0.87 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $1.04 for Q4 were 25% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.83 per share. GAAP EPS were $1.19 for Q4 compared to -$0.62 per share for the prior-year quarter.

For the quarter, gross margin was 81.1%, 120 basis points worse than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 43.0%, much better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 32.0%, much better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $721.9 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $1.01.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $3.28 billion. The average EPS estimate is $4.61.
The stock has a four-star rating (out of five) at Motley Fool CAPS, with 704 members out of 737 rating the stock outperform, and 33 members rating it underperform.
