Baker's Larson Appointed to Glendale Planning Commission and Board of Fighter Country Partnership

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Bruce Larson, P.E., Arizona Market Director of Private Development for Michael Baker Jr., Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE MKT:BKR), was recently appointed vice chairman of the Glendale, Ariz., Planning Commission and newly appointed to the Board of Directors for Fighter Country Partnership, a non-profit organization supporting Arizona's Luke Air Force Base.

Larson is currently in the middle of his second, two-year term in the Glendale Planning Commission's mayoral-appointed role, where he provides analysis, review, recommendations and public hearing support for land-use and development issues that arise within the City's district.


As a board member of Fighter Country Partnership, Larson helps support the men, women, families and mission of Luke Air Force Base which is to train F-16 pilots and maintainers while deploying mission-ready war fighters. In this role, Larson also serves as the chairman for the Blue Blazer Squadron, which is an honorary commander alumni group and core component of Fighter Country Partnership which serves as ambassadors and visible representatives to the community.
