Limoneira Announces Closing of Over-Allotment Option

SANTA PAULA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Limoneira Company (NAS: LMNR) , a leading agribusiness with prime agricultural land and operations, real estate and water rights in California, announced today that the underwriters have closed on the purchase of an additional 270,000 shares of the Company's common stock at a public offering price of $18.50 per share. The shares were sold to underwriters to cover over-allotments in connection with the previously announced public offering of 1,800,000 shares of the Company's common stock that closed on February 20, 2013. The Company received aggregate gross proceeds from the sale of the additional shares of approximately $5.0 million, bringing the total gross proceeds to the Company from the offering to approximately $38.3 million. Janney Montgomery Scott LLC acted as the lead book running manager for this offering. Roth Capital Partners, LLC acted as co-lead manager of this offering. Feltl and Company Inc. acted as co-manager of this offering.

The Company intends to use the net proceeds from this offering for general corporate purposes, which may include repayment of debt, real estate development and agricultural acquisitions.
