CONCORD, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Cerus Corporation (NAS: CERS) announced today that William "Obi" Greenman, president and chief executive officer, is scheduled to present a corporate update at the Cowen and Company 33rd Annual Health Care Conference in Boston at 9:20 AM ET on Wednesday, March 6, 2013.
A live webcast of the presentation will be available from the Investor Relations page of the Cerus web site at http://www.cerus.com/ir. A replay will be available for approximately two weeks following the completion of the event.

Cerus Corporation is a biomedical products company focused on commercializing the INTERCEPT Blood System to enhance blood safety. The INTERCEPT system is designed to reduce the risk of transfusion-transmitted diseases by inactivating a broad range of pathogens such as viruses, bacteria and parasites that may be present in donated blood.
