AT&T's Southwest Region Workers Ratify New Contract

Updated

AT&T's wireline workers in its Southwest region voted to ratify a four-year contract, the company announced today.

This new contract covers 20,000 Communications Workers of America District 6 union members in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas. Last Aug. 17, workers in AT&T's Midwest region ratified a three-year contract, and on Dec. 7 Southeastern region workers ratified their three-year agreement.

If the recently announced three-year tentative agreement between AT&T West and the CWA's District 9 union members is ratified, 77,000 AT&T wireline employees will be under contract.
