CastleVille 'Love and Marriage' Quests: Everything you need to know

Over the last few weeks, Zynga has been teasing CastleVille players with only a few details about the upcoming wedding between Yvette and Rafael in our Kingdoms, but now, we can finally start planning for the "wedding of the century" via a series of 10 "Love and Marriage" quests that are now available. We're here with a complete guide to these quests, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

Save the Date

  • Place the Foundation for the Wedding Hall

  • Tend 1 Flower

  • Fish in 1 Pond


The base of the Wedding Hall just needs to be placed in your Kingdom, it doesn't actually need to be built (yet). Finishing this first easy task gives you 2,000 coins and 40 XP.

Rush Wedding

  • Complete the Wedding Hall


The Wedding Hall requires five friends as crew members to complete. While you can hire your friends as normal, you can also hire either Duke or Yvette. Duke will come and visit once a week, while Yvette will visit every other day. The more visits this building receives, the faster the Wedding Hall will level up and the more rewards you'll unlock. If you'd like either Duke or Yvette as helpers, you'll actually need to purchase them for six or nine Crowns each, respectively. If you just stick with friends, make a note that you can now fire bad friends and hire new ones in order to increase your chances at rewards. You'll receive 2,000 coins, a Wedding Carriage and 40 XP for completing this quest.

Inviting Troubles

  • Have 4 Invitation Envelopes

  • Craft 1 Engraved Stationary

  • Craft 2 Candles


The Invitation Envelopes are earned by posting a general request to your news feed, while the Engraved Stationary and Candles are created inside the Studio. The Stationary requires items like Yellow Feathers and Flaxseed Oil, while the Candles require items like Reputation Hearts and Beeswax. You'll earn another 2,000 coins and 40 XP for finishing this quest.



Say Yes to the Dress

  • Craft the Wedding Dress

  • Craft 2 Wedding Veils

  • Tax 3 Houses


The Wedding Dress is made using Aquamarine, Cotton Thread and more. The Wedding Veils, meanwhile, require items like Down Feathers to complete. They take just five seconds to create inside the Studio. You'll receive 2,000 coins and 40 XP when you finish the quest.

A Groom's Garments

  • Have 6 Cufflinks

  • Craft a Wedding Tunic

  • Craft a Pair of Wedding Trousers



The Wedding Tunic requires buttons and musical instruments, both of which can be earned by posting general news requests to your feed. As for the Wedding Trousers, these require Dye Kits, Fasteners and Cotton Leggings to craft. You'll receive this Wedding Tunic and pair of Wedding Trousers, along with 2,000 coins and 40 XP for completing this quest.

Catered To You

  • Craft 2 Roasted Chickens

  • Craft 2 Brain Food

  • Craft a Wedding Cake


The Roasted Chickens are created inside the Kitchen using five Garlic, two Chicken Meat, and three Sticks of Butter. The Brain Food also requires Sticks of Butter, along with Barrels and Pumpkins, which can both be earned via news posts on your wall. Finally, the Wedding Cake is created using items like Berries and Flaxseed Oil. You'll earn 2,000 coins and 40 XP for completing this quest.

Wedding Jitters

  • Tend 5 Flowers

  • Craft 2 Flaming Grogs

  • Complete the Wedding Hall


The Grogs are created using Pails of Water, Ogres' Belches, and Peppers. Each one takes an hour to complete, but you should be able to complete them both a the same time in your multiple Kitchens. When you finish this quest, you'll receive 2,000 coins, 40 XP, and a Wedding Cake.

Here Comes the Bride

  • Craft 2 Flaming Swords

  • Cask the Banishus Maximus Spell

  • Prepare 2 Charm Gloom Rat Spells


The Banishus Maximus Spell is a green Nature spell that allows you to banish up to three Beasties from your Kingdom at once. It's created using Wood Clubs, Wool, and more. As for the Charm Gloom Rat Spell, this is found under the pink Spirit section. It can be created using Sugar, Honey, and more. Completing this quest gives you 2,000 coins and 40 XP.

Love Conquers All

  • Craft 2 Magic Trinkets

  • Craft 1 Iron Axe

  • Have 10 Berries


The Iron Axe is created in the Workshop using two Iron Bars and one Grindstone each. It takes 13 hours to craft, so keep that in mind when you go into this quest. For the Magic Trinkets, you'll need to collect items like Rubies, Iron Bars, Geodes and more. Each Trinket takes 30 minutes to craft. You'll receive another 2,000 coins and 40 XP when you complete this quest.

Wedding Bells

  • Craft 2 Bags of Popcorn

  • Visit 2 Neighbors

  • Craft 2 Bottles of Champagne


The Bags of Popcorn require five Ears of Corn, two Sticks of Butter, and one Flaxseed Oil each to create, and they take an hour to cook. The Bottles of Champagne are also crafted in the Kitchen using six Grapes, eight Pails of Water, two Sugar, and five Glass Bottles. The Bottles are earned by posting a general request to your news feed. When you complete this final quest in the series, you'll receive 2,000 coins, 40 XP, a Female Cupid Hat, a wedding Skirt, and a Wedding Shirt for your in-game avatar.
