Questar (NYS: STR) reported earnings on Feb. 20. Here are the numbers you need to know.

EPS came in at $0.38. The nine earnings estimates compiled by S&P Capital IQ anticipated $0.35 per share. Non-GAAP EPS of $0.38 for Q4 were 12% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.34 per share. GAAP EPS of $0.36 for Q4 were 5.9% higher than the prior-year quarter's $0.34 per share.

For the quarter, gross margin was 56.1%, 460 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Operating margin was 31.7%, 160 basis points better than the prior-year quarter. Net margin was 18.6%, 120 basis points better than the prior-year quarter.
Next quarter's average estimate for revenue is $459.4 million. On the bottom line, the average EPS estimate is $0.43.
Next year's average estimate for revenue is $1.33 billion. The average EPS estimate is $1.20.
