Kent to share insight and best practices on integrated business planning transforming the supply chain

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Avnet, Inc. (NYSE: AVT), a leading global technology distributor, today announced that Douglas Kent, global vice president of Avnet Velocity, will present "Integrated Business Planning Can Transform Your Supply Chain" at the Institute of Business Forecast and Planning's (IBF) Supply Chain Planning & Forecasting Conference in Scottsdale. The conference will be held at The Hilton Scottsdale Resorts Hotel and Villas, Scottsdale, Arizona, on February 24-26, 2013.

IBF's Supply Chain Planning & Forecasting Conference provides a hands-on and interactive program that fosters discussion and idea sharing for professionals interested in improving the S&OP process. This year's attendees will learn how to measure forecasting performance, how to analyze and treat data before using the ERP System, and how to prepare baseline forecasts using Time Series methods.
