ChefVille 'Appe-Thaizers' Quests: Everything you need to know

Updated

ChefVille's newest cooking event features food from Thailand, as players can build both a Thai Food Cooking Station and a Thai Garden that produces Lemongrass. There are two quest series available in this event thus far. We've already brought you a look at the "Once Upon a Thai" quests, and now, we're here with a guide to finishing the "Appe-Thaizers" quests, thanks to Zynga. Let's get started!

Sweeten the Pot

  • Serve Thai Wonton Soup 5 Times

  • Give 5 Chef's Services with Vegetable Pot Stickers

  • Collect 5 Lemongrass from the Thai Garden

If you've yet to finish your Terrific Thai Station, make sure to check out our complete guide to building it to get caught up. Once it's complete, you can cook the Thai Wonton Soup every five minutes using two Lemongrass, two Chicken Broth, and three Mushrooms per batch. The Lemongrass can be earned from the Thai Garden, an ingredient stall that costs 500 coins in the store.

When you place the Thai Garden, you'll need to spend three energy to unwrap it, and can then finish it off by collecting five Lemongrass Seeds and five High Nitrogen Fertilizers. The Lemongrass Seeds are earned via individual requests sent to your neighbors, while the other five items are earned by posting a general news item on your wall. Luckily, you can tend your friends' Thai Gardens to complete this task as well. So long as a Lemongrass is produced during that tend, it will count towards your own quest's progress.

Finally, the Vegetable Pot Stickers are prepared in the Terrific Thai Station using one Lemongrass, two Flour, and two Onions each. They take just two minutes to prepare, and if you plan ahead with this, you can easily complete all five Chef's Services with a single production of this dish. Remember, serving two guests at a single table will count as two Chef's Services, which is two for the price of a single energy! When you complete this first quest, you'll receive two Lemongrass, one Salvage Sage spice and 15 XP.

Wantin' Wonton

  • Tend Neighbors' Garlic Stalls 8 Times

  • Have 2 Mastery Stars for Wonton Soup

  • Serve Thai Coconut Rice 3 Times

Thai Coconut Rice can be cooked using one Coconut Milk, three Long Grain Rice, and two Water. The Coconut Milk is earned by either visiting your friends' and tending their stalls or building a Coconut Milk Stand. The thing is, this Coconut Milk Stand is only available after completing another quest: Picking Up Steam. If you get to this quest before having one built, you'll either need to visit your friends and tend their stands as we said before, or purchase the ingredient with Chef Cash. You can also simply put off completing this quest until you have one of your own, which is the easiest option. You'll receive two Coconut Milk, two Salt, and 30 XP for completing this quest.

Tropical Treats

  • Collect 8 Thai Tiffins

  • Cook 6 Times with Coconut Milk

  • Have 2 Mastery Stars for Chicken Coconut Soup

The Thai Tiffins are earned by asking your friends to send them to you, while the Chicken Coconut Soup is cooked over a 60 minute period using two Coconut Milk, two Lemongrass, and three Chicken. You'll need to cook the dish just once to earn the first Mastery Star. Finishing this final quest in the series gives you one Lotus Flower decoration for your restaurant, two Instant Thyme and 50 XP.

These quests will only be available for a week, so make sure to build your Terrific Thai Station as quickly as you can to start cooking these dishes. Good luck!
