WAUKEGAN, Ill. and BILOXI, Miss.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- WMS Gaming Inc., a subsidiary of WMS Industries (NYS: WMS) , announced today that a 73-year old Michigan resident won a $7.2 million jackpot on a WMS THE LORD OF THE RINGS™ progressive penny slot machine at the Palace Casino in Biloxi, Miss., on Friday evening, February 15. The jackpot exceeds the previous largest win on a WMS Wide-Area Progressive slot machine, which occurred in Atlantic City, when a player won $4.9 million on the Reel Adventure® link in January 2011.
