Northern Trust Named "Best Private Wealth Manager" by Private Asset Management
NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Northern Trust has been named "Best Private Wealth Manager" for firms with more than $5 billion in assets under management, by Private Asset Management, a financial services industry publication. Northern Trust is a leading provider of financial services for institutions, affluent individuals and families.
"Private Asset Management magazine selected Northern Trust for the award because of its expertise in the private wealth arena and its ability to provide clients with top of the line investment, wealth planning and servicing capabilities," Private Asset Management Managing Editor Kristen Oliveri said. "With close to $200 billion in assets in its wealth management business, Northern Trust is large, but the company's core values of service, integrity and expertise create a unique culture focused on helping every client achieve his or her goals."
Northern Trust has introduced an investment management approach that builds on the view that a client's specific goals should drive portfolio construction, and not the other way around. The approach represents the culmination of more than six years of research and development.
"We believe our goals driven investment approach is a logical way for investors to align their assets and risk preferences to match their specific goals," said Dave Blowers, Executive Vice President of Wealth Management at Northern Trust, based in New York City. "We are honored to receive this award, and are grateful to be recognized for the innovative methods and specialized strategies we employ on our clients' behalf."
The Private Asset Management Awards were presented at a Feb. 12 ceremony in New York City, where Northern Trust was nominated for eight different categories: Best Private Wealth Manager - over $5 billion; Best Private Wealth Manager - Client Service - over $5 billion; Private Banking - North America; Private Banking - Client Service; Private Banking - Innovation, Best Trustee Services, Best Multi-Family Office for Client Service; and Best Single Family Office Service Provider.
