MoneyGram Adds Dollar General to Agent Network

Money transfer services now more convenient for consumers in the U.S.

DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- MoneyGram (NYS: MGI) , a leading global money transfer company, announced it signed a multi-year agreement with Dollar General to offer its money transfer services in Dollar General's more than 10,000 stores throughout the United States. Under the agreement, Dollar General will offer MoneyGram's in-lane money transfer service.

Consumers using this service fund the money transfer at the point-of-sale in increments of $50, $100 and $200. The transaction is completed when the purchaser provides MoneyGram with the required information about themselves and the receiver via the Internet or telephone. With the addition of Dollar General, the MoneyGram network has grown to more than 50,000 U.S. locations reaching 197 countries and territories.
